How to get to Wings Over Wairarapa 2013
Train
A designated air show train service will run out of both Wellington on both Saturday and Sunday arriving prior to the air show and returning at the end of the day. Train tickets can be purchased in conjunction with your air show tickets through all Ticketek outlets. Coach transfers will be provided from the Masterton railway station to and from Hood Aerodrome.
The air show train timetable for both the Saturday and Sunday of the show is as follows:

 Train Shuttles
TRANZ METRO AIR SHOW SPECIAL TRAIN Tranzit Coachlines is providing a shuttle from this service on both days as follows:
Railway Station - Hood Aerodrome Transfers
There will be a bus service meeting this train at Masterton Railway Station at 10.11am and transferring patrons to Hood Aerodrome with a return service to the Railway Station for a 5.30pm departure at the end of the day. Last bus will depart the Air Show 30mins before train departure time
Cost: Each Way Adult $2.00 - Child $1.00 under 15 years
REGULAR TRANZ METRO TRAIN SERVICE Tranzit Coachlines is providing a shuttle from this service on both days as follows:
Railway Station - Hood Aerodrome Transfers There will be a bus service meeting this train at Masterton Railway Station at 11.30am and transferring patrons to Hood Aerodrome, with a return service to the Railway Station in time to meet the 4.50pm departure at the end of the day. Last bus will depart 30mins (4.20pm) before the train departure time.
Cost: Each Way Adult $2.00 – Child $1.00 under 15years

DC3 charter flights will run out of Auckland to the show on Saturday and Sunday. Further information on these services will be listed on this site once confirmed.

Helipro is offering helicopter transfers from Queens Wharf, Wellington to Hood Aerodrome, Masterton (and/or return) on each day of the show. Further information on this service will be listed on this site once confirmed.

Bus
- Wairarapa Bus Services (Martinborough-Featherston - Masterton)
There is a weekend Tranzit Metlink bus service from Martinborough to Featherston to Masterton on both Saturday and Sunday Departures from Martinborough are at 7.55am and 11.30am Return at 4.30pm Check www.metlink.org.nz and go to Journey Planner for the departure times for your town.
Fares :Normal Metlink Bus fares apply
Air Show patrons will be disembarked at the corner of South Belt and South Road 100m from the entrance gates.
To catch the return service from Masterton at 4.30pm, patrons will have to catch the Tranzit Shuttle service from the Air Show (last bus 4.20pm) and be transferred to Masterton's Queen St bus stop to meet the South Wairarapa Tranzit Metlink service.
Fare for this shuttle service is Adult $2.00 Child $1.00 under 15 years (Normal Metlink Bus fares apply from Queen St.)

Come on join the team at Nimon & Sons Ltd for a day to remember. Travelling in a luxury coach to Hood Aerodrome and back.

Car
If travelling North, come via State Highway 2 from Wellington via the Rimutaka Hill and Featherston. For those coming from the South Island Interislander are offering a discounted fare, see below for details.
If you're travelling south, drive via State Highway 2 through Woodville and Pahiatua.

Motorhome
There will be designated over night camper van parking available within the air field for the duration of the show so transport to and from the show can be on foot!
As in previous years, we expect a large number of motorhomes to attend the show and so have appointed some local enthusiasts to coordinate this area. Further information on this service will be added to this site once confirmed.
