How is Friday Different?

Choose a one day pass to Friday’s practice day. It’s your opportunity to see behind the scenes of an air festival in action. It’s a very relaxed day with easy parking, less crowds, with the opportunity to be one of the first to see what is arriving at the Aerodrome for the weekend’s show.

General Admission Practice Day Passes are $20 for an Adult. You can only buy your General Admission Practice Day Pass at the gate.

Or go all out and pre-purchase a Practice Day Gold Pass where you can experience the best Wairarapa hospitality in our marquee situated on the flight line.  You'll receive a gourmet buffet meal, a souvenir programme, a 2017 cap, VIP parking, a seat on the flight line and access to the grandstand with the best views in the house.

Internationally renowned and the largest air show in the North Island, Wings will bring over 70 different aircraft to Masterton for a weekend of on the ground and in the air entertainment. Held only every two years, this Wings will be bigger, brighter, bolder and noisier than any Wings before, with some exciting changes to the programme. We can’t wait to see what you think of the new show!
